Please contact The London Photo Shoot in advance, by email detailing your requirements. It is possible that booking a private photo walk will be cheaper than booking individually.

Most likely, because the photo walk is booked up for that date or is not available on that date.

You should book as soon as possible to guarantee your place. Minimum time is 24 hours before the intended date.

No, photo walks are not cancelled or postponed because of rain. Sometimes, inclement weather and wet pavement makes for some spectacular photos.

Just casual clothing suitable for the season. Some waterproof outer garment and some very comfortable footwear. You will be walking for a few miles so braking in new shoes or heels are not a good idea.

Bring your camera batteries fully charged and a lot of memory space; you will be taking a substantial number of pictures.

There is a maximum limit of seven participants per photo walk. Depending on the time of year there will be fewer.

All photo walks begin and end near a London Underground station. As soon as you book your walk, you will receive an email with the details of where to meet and where the walk will end.

Most photo walks take about 3 hours sometimes a little more.

Each participant should bring his/her own camera. Suited cameras include SLRs, DSLRs, Bridge and mirrorless cameras. It might be useful to bring along the camera manual in English. For the evening photowalks a tripod should also be brought.

Yes, the instructional photo walks are adequate for all ages. A booked adult should accompany under 18’s. Please no unregistered attendants.

What photo skills will I learn on the photo walk? 2017-05-19T14:23:26+00:00

You will learn how to set the exposure on your camera (ISO, white balance, aperture and speed) as well as some composition techniques that with help you achieve a visual balance in your photography.
